Most People Miss the Doorway to Their Future. How to Not Be Most People.
If you're reading this feeling stuck, feeling like you're drowning in everyone else's expectations, feeling like every path laid out for you leads to the same soul-crushing destination - wake the fuck up.
You have full accountability and ownership over your life. Not your parents. Not your boss. Not society. You.
And every single day, opportunities are sliding past you dressed up as innocent little questions.
The Questions That Change Everything
Would you like to start this podcast with me?
Could you possibly be interested in attending this event with me?
Are you interested in X? It could be beneficial.
Most of you see these as throwaway moments. Small talk. Casual invitations you can brush off while you scroll through your phone, complaining that nothing ever happens for you.
Here's the brutal truth: These aren't just questions. They're doors. And while you're sitting there waiting for the opportunity to kick down your front door with a marching band, it's actually knocking quietly, repeatedly, and you're too caught up in your bullshit to answer.
I almost missed the DM that changed my trajectory. Saw a friend's video blowing up, could've just liked it and scrolled on. Instead, I reached out. That one message led to working with him on his startup. That startup work led to consulting gigs. Those gigs led to multiple income streams.
One. Fucking. DM.
You're Not Getting Asked Because You're Invisible
Let me be radically candid with you - if nobody's asking you to be part of things, it's not because you're unlucky. It's because you're invisible.
You're not putting yourself out there. You're not showing your skills. You're not being your biggest advocate.
And before you come at me with "but I don't know how to network" or "I'm introverted" - stop. Just stop.
You need to find people doing shit you think is cool and reach out to them. It's that simple. Find somebody living your ideal lifestyle and talk to them. Send the message: "Hey, I appreciate what you're doing. I think it's fucking cool. I'd like to do X, Y, and Z. Do you have any time to talk about it?"
Most will say no. You only need one or two to say yes.
But here's what separates the people who make it from everyone else...
The "None of the Above" Approach to Opportunity
This isn't just about entrepreneurship anymore. This is about anyone who's frustrated with the current state of things - politically, financially, culturally. Anyone who looks at the menu of life options and thinks, "none of this shit works for me."
Whether you're the artist who won't commercialize, the corporate exec planning your escape, or the student who knows the traditional path is a scam - this is for you.
Here's how you become someone opportunities flow to:
1. Expand Your Surface Area
You know why most people never get lucky? They're trying to drop a ball into a single hole. Perfect aim required. One shot.
Elite operators? They create a thousand holes. They increase their luck surface area so dramatically that missing becomes almost impossible.
This means:
Learning about everything, not just your lane
Being conversationally dangerous in multiple domains
Reading books about money, marketing, psychology, supply chain - even if you "don't need it"
Working jobs that teach you, not just pay you
I spent years learning shit that seemed random. Then suddenly, I could hold conversations with VCs, startup founders, corporate executives, and creators. Each conversation opened three more doors.
2. Master the Humility-Ambition Paradox
You need to be able to say "I don't know shit" while simultaneously going after everything. This isn't a contradiction - it's radical candor about your abilities.
When I stepped into startup roles, I was honest: "I'm willing to learn all of this. I'll be the best version of myself executing this. But I don't know what I don't know yet."
That honesty, combined with relentless execution, is what builds trust. You can't fake competence. But you can be honest about your commitment to gaining it.
3. Become 80% Competent at Everything
Here's what I learned that nobody teaches you: You can become 80% competent at almost anything, fast. That last 20% to mastery? That takes years.
But in a world where most people are 20% competent at one thing, being 80% competent at ten things makes you unstoppable, especially when you're building something from nothing.
4. Accept the Seven-Year Reality
This isn't a 90-day transformation. It's not a six-month rebrand.
You're changing your identity, and your body will fight you on it.
I've been at this for seven years. The autobiography-worthy moments? One or two per year, max. The rest is grinding, questioning if you're insane, and choosing to continue anyway.
You're building a life over multiple years. You identify your ideal reality, then improve each life area incrementally. Each building block gets you closer to your ideal lifestyle.
Want to be fit? You don't "start working out." You become someone who identifies as fit. It's an identity shift, not a habit hack.
The Dark Side Nobody Talks About
You will be criticized early and often. You'll question everything. The external validation won't come for years.
Your path won't always look success-centric. While everyone else is posting wins, you'll be in year three wondering if you're delusional.
If you're not ready for this path - if you haven't mastered yourself, understood how you operate, where you need improvement - you will be shot down quickly.
The software in your brain needs to be upgraded before you can execute at this level.
Your Choice Point
Right now, you're at a decision point.
You can close this, go back to scrolling, and continue being frustrated that nothing changes while changing nothing.
Or you can accept that nobody knows what they're doing. Everyone's failing forward. The only difference between the people you admire and you is that they started saying yes to the small questions and became visible.
The weird random shit I learned that mattered most? Nobody has it figured out. They're just better at pretending while they figure it out.
Over the last three years, I've built multiple income streams. Not because I'm special. Because I assumed money would flow to me, I worked to make that assumption a reality. Three jobs at once? Yeah, it was brutal. But I could execute without it becoming a problem.
That's what choosing "None of the Above" looks like. It's not pretty. It's not Instagram-worthy most days. But it's yours.
The Bottom Line
Listen, motherfucker. I can give you the keys to the castle. I can lead the horse to water.
But if you're not willing to look at yourself in the mirror and question if your current identity is the one that gets you to your ideal lifestyle, then I don't know why you keep reading without taking action.
Stop consuming. Start reaching out. Start being visible. Start answering yes to the small questions.
Because those microtransactions you're ignoring? They're the compound interest of an extraordinary life.
And if you're still sitting there thinking "but what if..." then you've already chosen. You've chosen the predetermined path. You've chosen to check the box that was pre-selected for you.
The rest of us? We're choosing None of the Above.
And we're building something entirely our own.
Now, either unsubscribe because this is too real, or reach out and ask how I can support you in actually executing, because doing this alone is like trying to self-coach yourself to the Olympics. Possible? Maybe. Stupid? Definitely.
Your move.

P.S. - If you're one of those people who reads this, gets fired up for 37 seconds, then goes back to your regular programming - this isn't for you. This is for the people who read this and immediately open their DMs to message someone they admire. The ones who understand that transformation isn't a feeling, it's an action. Which one are you?
